JVC LAUNCHES COST-EFFECTIVE GY-HM710U PROHD CAMCORDER AT INFOCOMM 2011

WAYNE, NJ – JVC Professional Products Company, a division of JVC Americas Corp., today unveiled the new GY-HM710U ProHD camcorder – a cost effective choice for event coverage, documentaries, ENG news, and educational applications – at InfoComm 2011 (Booth 1062), which runs through June 17 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The compact, shoulder-mount camcorder has a similar body style and many of the same features of the GY-HM750U that was introduced earlier this year, but does not include the option to attach external modules for additional functionality.

Eden FX “Howls” with New MTV Series “Teen Wolf”

The 2011 HPA Awards Early Bird Deadline Approaching

Prestigious Creative Categories Early Entry Ends July 1st

(Los Angeles, CA) Last month the Hollywood Post Alliance opened the Call for Entries for the 6th Annual HPA Awards taking place November 10, 2011 at a gala event at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. The entry deadline for the Creative Categories is July 29th, but the Early Bird Deadline (reduced fee for the creative categories) ends July 1st.

Creativity Categories include; Outstanding Color Grading using a DI process for feature film, as well as Outstanding Color Grading for television and commercials; and Outstanding Editing, Sound, and Compositing for feature film, television and commercials. PANAMA’S TVN UPGRADES WITH FOR-A HVS-350HS AND HVS-300HS SWITCHERS

Fort Lee, N.J.- FOR-A Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and professional video industries, announced the installation of the FOR-A HVS-350HS HD/SD 1.5 M/E digital video switcher and the FOR-A HVS-300HS HD/SD portable video switcher to Televisora Nacional, S.A.
