CINEMA AUDIO SOCIETY ANNOUNCES PRESENTERS

The Cinema Audio Society announced today that Tom Hooper, director of The King’s Speech will be presenting, together with Re-recording Mixer Scott Millan, CAS, the CAS Filmmaker Award to Taylor Hackford, President of the Directors Guild of America. In making the announcement, CAS President Edward L. Moskowitz had this to say, “We are thrilled to have Tom Hooper as part of the CAS Awards. Working with director Yan Giroux and writer Philippe Comeau, creative director at LG2, Boogie provided stunning visual effects allowing for a two-minute single-take spot in which the actor appears to smash his hand with a hammer while delivering an earnest safety message.
