jumP Continues to Elevate with Imgrund Signing

Following the addition of Damon Webster as its new EP, jumP LA is pleased to announce the hiring of another top talent: Mark Imgrund. A versatile pro who can edit commercials, music videos, emerging media content, and long-form projects with equal dexterity, Imgrund arrives at jumP with a strong background in music and photography.
Imgrund’s diverse body of work includes documentary-style spots, comedy and VFX. He has collaborated with a slew of top-notch talent – including photographer Dewey Nicks, Hoop Dreams filmmakers Peter Gilbert and Steve James, Roman Coppola, Lance Kelleher, Rob Bindler, Ray Dillman, visual artist Doug Aitken, Superfad, Brand New School, Stacy Peralta, and Academy Award-winners Barbara Kopple, Jessica Yu and Errol Morris – on his way to amassing an impressive commercial portfolio. His credits include Target, BMW, Nokia, Honda, Citibank, Samsung, Quiksilver, New Balance, Ford, Energizer, SBC, Microsoft, DirecTV, Merrill Lynch and Sony. He has worked with a variety of top agencies, including Deutsch, RPA, BBDO, McCann, GSD&M, Arnold, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Innocean Americas, DDB, Publicis & Hal Riney, and JWT/TeamDetroit.
“If it’s on a screen, Mark can make it look better,” noted Managing Director Dee Tagert. “He has that keen and irreplaceable editor’s eye for detail that pretty much defines our entire crew here at jumP. After signing both him and Damon in the past couple of months, we’re feeling really good about the company’s continued upward trajectory.”
“jumP has grown at an unbelievable rate over the past couple of years, producing one project after another that just blows me away,” stated Imgrund. “I’m excited to become part of this incredible team, as the one year anniversary of opening their LA branch approaches.”
In addition to his advertising spots, Imgrund has amassed an array of long-form projects, including a trailer for Tom Gilroy’s feature Spring Forward, documentary shorts for the Smashing Pumpkins, a live concert for Beck, corporate projects for Microsoft and Toyota, and the main title sequence for the feature film Mona Lisa Smile.
Imgrund has been honored with an Emmy Award; a Monitor Award; three Gold NY Addy Awards; a Best of Broadcast Addy Award; an AICP award for his Nokia campaign, which now lives at MOMA; and a finalist placing with the London International Advertising Awards.
Prior to joining jumP, Imgrund spent time working at Dennis Hayes & Associates, Assemblage, Spot Welders and Nonfiction Unlimited.
