Jeffrey Durkin’s award-winning production company – BreadTruck Films contracts the 3D Film Factory to provide 3D production services.

San Diego, CA – The 3D Film Factory was recently contracted by the award-winning production company – BreadTruck Films – to provide stereoscopic 3D production and postproduction services for a live-action, 3D adventure movie. At 30 minutes in length, this 3D short film was created to help promote San Diego’s innovative “Super Dentistâ€?.

A first -of-its-kind 3D project, this 3D live-action short is an adventure comedy film designed to entertain and educate young patients about the importance of good oral hygiene. In the waiting room, kids and adults alike will be able to view the finished film on large screen 3D TV’s with the use of 3D glasses.

“The idea is to have kids in the waiting room put on 3D glasses and enter the adventures of ‘Super Dentist’ on a large screen 3D TV�, said award-winning filmmaker Jeffrey Durkin. “It’s an incredibly fun, futuristic concept – your dentist is a super hero fighting bad oral hygiene in 3D. This isn’t marketing 101 – we’re way beyond that here.�

The 3D Film Factory was brought aboard to provide high-level 3D production services, including professional 3D camera rigs (beam-splitter & side-by-side), real-time HD 3D viewing, and director of stereography, Keith Driver.

The ‘Super Dentists’ offices are located throughout San Diego County with the newest location about to open in Oceanside. The high-value production boasted the talents of several veteran actors, as well as, multiple filming locations throughout San Diego.
