Digital connectivity solutions provider Gefen today announced the availability of its 10×4 DVI DL Matrix, a new addition to the recently introduced GefenPRO product line. GefenPRO offers integrators and end users professional products with advanced 24/7 technical support for broadcast, rental/staging and post-production environments.

With the 10×4 DVI DL Matrix, any ten computers can be switched to any four professional monitors with full cross-point routing. Users have the flexibility to create one or two extended desktops or send sources to individual displays.

High resolutions are supported up to 3840×2400, accommodating both single and dual link DVI formats. Built-in EDID management ensures the stability of pre-settings throughout switching. RS-232 serial control and front panel buttons offer easy access and control.

An internal power supply further strengthens performance, eliminating potential disconnects. The black metallic enclosure is rack mountable and rugged enough to withstand high performance environments.

Burbank, CA- AlphaDogs Post Production recently completed work on FEARnet’s newest web series Post Mortem With Mick Garris, Directed by Perry Martin and hosted by Master Of Horror Mick Garris, the shows focus is on horror films and other genre-related matters.

AlphaDogs Post Production completed the entire post package including color grading, online editing and the audio mix. Director Perry Martin chose Alpha Dogs because he was concerned about maintaining broadcast level quality for the web series. Post Mortem is a dialogue intensive show with no music or sound effects to mask any room tone or imperfections during the interviews. Sound Mixer Isai Espinoza used Pro Tools to mix the show and Waves Renaissance Plug-Ins to equalize and compress the dialogue. Liberty 360

Smart Monkeys was chosen by David Niles–best-known for his pioneering HD production and for creating the award winning Comcast Experience–to build the show control and programming for “Liberty 360,” a 360º stereoscopic 3D exhibit produced by Niles Creative Group for the Historic Philadelphia Center. The 15-minute experience uses storytelling (Ben Franklin appears as the historical escort) and theatrical illusion to portray the evolution of democracy in the United States. Niles created the original concept for the exhibit as well as the unique theater design for the world’s first 360º stereo 3D projection.

SMBs Recognized for Green Initiatives and Office Efficiency
