Video Production System Provides Live Webcasts, Improves On-Site and Distance Learning

SEATAC, WA, September 8, 2010 – Lawyers in the state of Washington must take continuing education courses to maintain their license to practice. Until recently, the majority of those course offerings were in Seattle, requiring travel for many lawyers. However, a video production system designed and installed by premier systems integration firm Advanced Broadcast Solutions (ABS) in the Washington State Bar Association’s (WSBA) new 145-seat conference center in Seattle provides live, multi-camera webcasts of classes that allow lawyers to “attend� remotely from wherever they are while enhancing presentations for on-site participants. more

Five years after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, famed director Spike Lee returned to document the city’s ongoing recovery efforts. Arcade Fire

When the Canadian rock band Arcade Fire began touring this summer they had grandMA in tow. Lighting designer/production designer Susanne Sasic brought a grandMA console along when she served as lighting designer and programmer for the tour in support of the band’s new album, The Suburbs. Jeff Ravitz also deployed a grandMA for the live webcast of Arcade Fire’s August 5 concert from Madison Square Garden.
