DJ is a beautiful montage of a West Coast weekday morning, following the journey of a morning talk-show deejay as he navigates the city’s soaring bridges, meandering hilly streets, and towering skyscrapers on his daily journey to work. As an invigorated troupe of commuters sweeps through the diners, streetcars, and parks of the iconic city – a golden Tropicana invariably by their side – the deejay narrates the 7:00 a.m. sunshine, promising that “today is going to be a great day.”
