Further, recent additions to the facility include Clark Henderson, an industry veteran who recently relocated to Technicolor New York from his position at Technicolor Hollywood; and Mona Jackson, who will provide greater focus on the facility’s broadcast TV and commercial advertising services. more

Autodesk at NAB 2010: Live in Las Vegas and Virtually on the AREA

Autodesk, Inc., will participate in the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas, April 12–15, 2010. At NAB, Autodesk will unveil the latest versions of its visual effects, finishing and color grading software products for film, television and commercial post-production. Digital artists will be able to connect with Autodesk at NAB booth SL2020, and virtually on the AREA, Autodesk’s digital entertainment and visualization community. Vizrt Products Essential in TopVision’s Production of First 3D HD German Football Game

Bergen, Norway, March 31, 2010 Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ)

On March 14th TopVision, the Berlin-based OB-Van production company, presented the first live 3D HD Bundesliga football match in Germany. Nine 3D camera rigs (18 cameras in total) provided the video and Vizrt’s software generated the graphics. The Viz Trio character generator and the dual-channel Viz Engine created and synchronized graphics for the left and right eyes, creating the 3D effect. more
