Top jumP Project Resurrected For Another Run

Two years after its award-winning theater debut, Director Steven Sebring’s Patti Smith: Dream of Life recently aired on PBS and a related art exhibition, “Objects of Life” opened at the Robert Miller Gallery in New York. The film, edited in part by jumP‘s Lin Polito and finished by Angelo Carrao ACE, captures the vision and spirit of poet, painter, musician, and punk rock icon Patti Smith in the most humble and pure state. Polito helped skillfully thread ten years of footage together to define an intimate portrait featuring the artist’s breathtaking performances on tour, unrestricting love for her children, devotion to late husband Fred “Sonic” Smith, and overwhelmingly hypnotic narrative poetry. more
