The Production Music Association (PMA) Announces First-Ever Release of Standardized Format for MetaData
Los Angeles, CA, December 9, 2009 — The Production Music Association (PMA) has announced the release of a Standardized Metadata Format for use by production music libraries, worldwide. In conjunction with U.S. Performing Rights organizations, and top leaders in the industry located in both the U.S. and Europe, the PMA has compiled, for the first time ever, a standard set of guidelines designed to benefit production music libraries of all sizes. more



Rhino CD Vico Sharabani recently collaborated with director Jason Smith of Industry on an elegant new :30 for Mazda via Doner, Detroit. Sharabani supervised the planning, shoot and post work for all VFX, with a special focus on a detailed pre-vis to streamline the spot’s creation as much as possible.

All of My Loving is set in a bizarre household in which every piece of furniture – from the beds to the tables to the toilet – is comprised of totally nude live-action male human bodies or parts of bodies. While the actors wore underwear during the shoot, Lead Flame Artist James “Krispy” Cornwell used his visual magic to make the clothing disappear by giving it the texture and color of skin.
Stop-motion animation pros Screen Novelties, the latest talent addition to DUCK Studios, created a jolly opening sequence for children’s favorite SpongeBob SquarePants’ 10th anniversary special on Nickelodeon. The roughly :45 piece is a spectacular showcase of the diverse capabilities of DUCK’s newest creative team.

He is nothing less than a living icon in the world of graphic design and advertising. So when Director Benita Raphan (SVA alumna) approached SUSPECT CD Hoon Chong (also SVA alumunus), to handle the open for, “The Wilde Ones”, a documentary tribute for Wilde’s 40-year anniversary at the school, he readily accepted. Raphan quickly expanded the offer to include all post and effects for the film.
