Because football is such a high-impact sport, the lack of sound design accompanying their high-concept graphics was less than ideal for the show opens and interstitials. The NFL Network looked to SonicPool to carry the ball, and SonicPool had no doubts it’d be up for the challenge. “Being big football fans ourselves, it was an honor to contribute to the NFL and their viewers’ experience,” said Patrick Bird and Brett Butler of SonicPool. The TV show opens and graphics will air as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration; this year marks the 50th season for the eight original American Football League Teams. The NFL will celebrate this anniversary throughout the year, with content and programming highlighting the history of the AFL and the original eight teams, in addition to the 16 AFL Legacy Games.
