NEW YORK CITY-Broadway Video has entered into a creative alliance with David Sutton, an award-winning creative director, designer, live action director and editor, and his company Frantic Studio. Sutton has moved his production offices to the Broadway facility and will work collaboratively with Broadway’s internal design team, headed by creative director Katherine Burke, and other departments on broadcast and advertising projects. The two parties have been working together on an informal basis for more than a year on projects for NBC, American Express, Wal-Mart and Proctor & Gamble, among others. more

Billerica, Massachusetts (February 4, 2009) Broadcast Pix™, the company that redefined the production switcher as a live integrated production system, today announced that First Presbyterian Church (FPC) in Charlotte, North Carolina has selected its Slate 1000HD for live television broadcasts. The Slate 1000HD powers the church’s live broadcast of weekly services on Channel 9 WSOC-TV at 11 a.m. on Sunday mornings. FPC services have been broadcast for more than 40 years and claim a weekly audience numbering more than 22,000 people. FPC purchased the unit and integrated it through Clark Powell, a system integrator and Broadcast Pix dealer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. more
