For the 2008 Olympics, NBC is using RTS RVON VoIP technology combined with RTS Intelligent Trunking to create a global communications network with an unprecedented level of connectivity.
Beijing, China Recently I had the opportunity to speak with Bob Streeter, a communications veteran at NBC, about the intercom network they are using at the Olympic Games this year. Increased use of Trunking and RVON VoIP with an emphasis on remote manageability allows NBC to streamline overseas communication for a smoother production process.

United Kingdom With the arrival of Deborah Jackson, tech support at Telex UK has gained a valuable new member to complete its team. Deborah assumed her position on August 11 and will be responsible for all tech-related issues regarding CCS (Critical Communication Systems) and ACT (Advanced Communication Technology) products. As Sales and System Engineer, she will work on the integration of products into existing systems, as well as the development and installation of new ones. Furthermore, Debbie will provide pre- and after-sales support, thus helping Telex to offer not only sales but also local assistance to customers, especially in critical communication situations. more

It’s the fourth consecutive year that the company has been involved in this high profile event, and the first year that the projection canvas has been increased from 60 to 90 metres wide.
