21st Century Storytelling Explored at HD Expo June 5th
Filmmakers and Experts Explore the Impact of Technology on the Creative Process
May 22, 2008 (Burbank, CA) When HD EXPO sets sail at Chicago’s Navy Pier on June 5, 2008, filmmakers, technologists, and experts will explore the impact that technology has had on the creative process on a wide variety of projects. “Tech & The Indie: Storytelling In The 21st Century� will feature cinematographers Pete Biagi and Fred Miller, Filmworkers Club colorist Pete Jannotta, and Producers Billy Maursky and Christina Vartosis in a discussion moderated by Tom Fletcher of Fletcher Camera. The 21st Century Storyteller panel uniquely complements HD EXPO’s Bryan Carroll: Capturing and Controlling “Public Enemies,� scheduled after the 21st Century panel. Carroll is Co-Producer of “Public Enemies,� Michael Mann’s feature currently in production in the Chicago area. Carroll has facilitated many technological tools that Mann has used on a number of high profile feature films and television projects. more
