William A. Fraker Heads Judging Of 2008 Eastman Scholarships and Kodak Faculty Grant Awards

MELBOURNE – William A. Fraker, ASC, BSC will head the judging of the 2008 Eastman Scholarships for film school students and the Kodak Faculty Grant awards.

Kodak Technical Training Specialist and cinematographer Randy Tack, and President of the Video Association of Dallas and Artistic Director of the Dallas Video Festival Bart Weiss, representing the University Film and Video Association (UFVA), will join Fraker as jury members. Judging will commence in July. more

E/T/C London Helps Launch Sunderland Aquatic Centre

Working closely with show producers Magnetic Events, and soundscape producer Karen Monid, E/T/C’s Ross Ashton interpreted an original storyboard by Magnetic’s Robin Morley to create a 15 minute collage of images based on aquatic themes, interwoven with water-related elements from the City’s past and present, with “the swimmer� at its core. more

New York-based editorial and VFX/motion design shop Version2 announces its partnership with CG animation and VFX shop, Special Branch, forming Special Branch@V2 (SB@V2). The partnership expands V2′s current presence, ability, and scope allowing them to deliver a wider range of services and talent depth to its clients.
