RTS Introduces TBX-Tribus Digital Audio Interface Card AT NAB 2008

Las Vegas, Nevada RTS is pleased to launch the TBX-Tribus digital audio interface card at NAB 2008, Booth #C-5928. The new TBX-Tribus digital interface card transmits digital audio and data using multiple ADAM frames, allowing users quick connection of multiple remote intercom systems.
The RTS TBX-Tribus surpasses the Dual Bus Expansion card with superior channel capability and redefined system architecture, thus improving the robustness of the TBX-Tribus-based ADAM system. One card connects up to three ADAM frames, allowing synchronous communication over multiple ADAM frames using a Mesh network structure. Multiple TBX-Tribus cards can be used in an ADAM frame to take complete advantage of the redundancy feature offered for mission-critical communication environments. The TBX-Tribus supports all standard, hot-swappable, and configurable features within the ADAM intercom family and works in both AIO-8 and AIO-16 frame environments with simple software settings via RTS AZedit intercom software. Each card communicates with a backcard in the frame, providing three full-duplex links to transmit digital audio as well as control data over a fiber network. more

The RVON-16 supports all standard hot-swappable and configurable options through RTS’s RVONedit VoIP configuration software, and some configuration options through RTS’s AZedit intercom configuration software. The RVON-16 also supports remote keypanels, audio connections between matrix frames via RVON-16, RVON-8, or RVON-I/O as well as virtual keypanels via VoIP. It also has two DB-9 serial connections for RS-232 or RS-485 pass-thru port connections.
RVON-16 also supports RTS Intelligent Trunking over IP. Trunking is a method of using minimal audio paths for a large number of users.
