New York City – Multi-disciplinary creative studio Thornberg & Forester recently completed a series of animated 30-second spots for Efficiency Vermont, a nonprofit organization providing energy-saving advice to households and businesses across the state. The campaign, created through Kelliher Samets Volk (VT, MA, NY), introduces Jessie “Fewer� Watts, a compact fluorescent light bulb-as-hero character who saves the day (and energy) in a series of humorous vignettes. more

London, 10 April 2008 – At the upcoming NAB Show (National Association of Broadcasters Convention), Sony and FilmLight will demonstrate grading and display of uncompressed 4K imagery in real-time. The demonstrations will be conducted at both the Sony booth (SU906) and the FilmLight booth (SL1405) and will involve FilmLight’s Baselight EIGHT colour grading system grading uncompressed 4K imagery for display via Sony’s SRX-S105 SXRDâ„¢ 4K projector. The combination provides a true 4K DI workflow allowing full resolution imagery to be viewed at 1:1 in real-time grading sessions. more
