Scharff Weisberg supplied a lighting package to DP and lighting designer Alan Adelman for “Comedy Central Presents,” the cablenet‘s stand-up comedy series now in its twelfth season. Comics appearing last season included Marc Maron, Lisa Landry, Tom Papa, Paul F. Tompkins and John Heffron. The new shows, also featuring an array of leading comics, were taped live onstage at Manhattan‘s Hudson Theater over a one-week time span. more

Morley brings over ten years of experience from some of the leading visual effects facilities, including Lucasfilm, The Moving Picture Company and Industrial Light and Magic, and has worked on many high profile film projects including Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Batman Begins and Troy. In this brilliantly animated piece from Motion Theory, New York-based Search Party was enlisted by BBH, NY to identify a song for the upcoming fully integrated global branding campaign for NYC & Company (www.nycvisit.com). Search Party opted to present Take the A Train performed by Ella Fitzgerald because of its quintessential New York City vibe. “Ella‘s exuberance in the song truly captures the energy and vitality of New York City,” said Search Party‘s Music Supervisor, Stephanie Diaz-Matos. “The song is rooted in the rich and distinct musical tradition of jazz that New York City was instrumental in honing.” In order to secure this piece of music, Search Party worked with Verve Records offering a trade to remix the ad for their successful Verve Remix 4 album. Projection specialists ETC UK supplied Christie high powered video projection and an OnlyView multi-screen control system onto a 24 metre curved screen for the BT Digital Music Awards, a Ballistic Events project, staged at London‘s Roundhouse.
