Developed through Bravo Group, part of Young & Rubicam, (New York, NY), and produced in Spanish, the :15 animations will air on the U.S. Spanish-language network Telemundo, May 19th during People en Español‘s 6th Annual “50 Most Beautiful” celebration (“50 mas bellos de People en Español”.) EIGHT VFX, PHARELL, BRYAN BARBER HAVE THE RIGHT ‘IDEA’ FOR PEPSI

SANTA MONICA, CA, April 30, 2007 – Sir Isaac Newton may have discovered gravity, but Pepsi’s keeping it fresh with this new “Idea” directed by Bryan Barber via Spike DDB. The spot marks the director’s first collaboration with Eight VFX, which drives the spot with its CG version of Newton’s Cradle.

“Idea” begins with hip-hop star Pharell kicking back and toying with a Newton’s Cradle, setting the balls in motion. Shot from numerous angles, the balls collide in a swinging cause-and-effect sequence, creating a unique, contagious rhythm.
