Scharff Weisberg sprung into action with audio support for Bill Fontana‘s sound sculpture, Panoramic Echoes, which launched the first day of spring in New York‘s Madison Square Park as part of Mad. Sq. Art 2007. The company wirelessly connected speakers from four different New York City buildings, which sent laser-focused sound to a small section of the park to create a local sound-scape. Mad. Sq. Art is a free outdoor art gallery, presented by the Madison Square Park Conservancy, showcasing new work created for the historic 6.2-acre park by major artists. Panoramic Echoes will run until May 1.
