The Mill New York Adds Digital Vision DVNR System

Stockholm, Sweden- 9 January 2007 – Digital Vision, a leading developer of advanced digital media applications specialising in film and video, today announced that The Mill New York has purchased a DVNR system with the AGR4 ME film grain and video noise management option. The new system is being used to ensure pristine image quality on all of the facility‘s SD and HD commercial and music video projects.

Digital Vision‘s DVNR Image Processing Workstation provides the industry‘s fastest motion-compensated grain/noise management and dust/dirt removal tools. The AGR4 ME was designed for film, videotape restoration, and MPEG pre-processing. Advanced motion processing and adaptive 3-D filters enable facilities to produce cleaner, sharper pictures from film and video-originated material. It can be used for a wide range of applications, from reducing the intensity of film grain while preserving its structure to wiping out noise on video materials, and supports SD and HD, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, RGB and YUV video formats.

Simon Cuff, President of Digital Vision noted, “The Mill is known worldwide for its superior-quality work and high standards. The fact that all of the projects that The Mill New York delivers for their advertising and music industry clients are touched by the DVNR is testament to the system‘s capabilities and role in ensuring high-quality images.”
