Beautiful Morocco Seen in Timelapse and Slow-Motion

Spanish photographer Enrique Pacheco captures the beauty of Morocco in this stunning short film which combines timelapse and slow-motion sequences.

He writes on his Vimeo page, "Morocco is a country that awakens in the photographer a desire for adventure. From the green mountains of the northern Rif to the arid and warm desert of Erg Chebbi, Morocco offers endless opportunities to get those fantastic images that we have always dreamed of. This trip to Morocco was certainly one of the most rewarding and enriching I have done so far, both for traveling alone and for the magnificent results that I have achieved."

Pacheco used a Sony A99 and Sony FS700 to capture his images. Watch below.

Sony A99: 'Small, Fast and Furious'

Gizmodo is excited about the Sony A99's specs, writing, "So what makes this camera so special? You'll notice the difference as soon as you pick it up. At just 25.9-ounces it's a nearly a half-pound lighter than both the D800 and the 33.5-ounce 5DMKIII. It's also smaller than both of the other cameras. If you've ever lugged a camera around all day, you know that makes a difference. That said, the build definitely doesn't feel as sturdy as the Canon and Nikon cameras."

Rumor Patrol: The Sony A99

Nofilmschool.com asks if Sony's rumored new A99 will be the full-frame DSLR the world has been waiting for. They write, "If [the rumored specs] turn out to be true, this is truly a next generation DSLR rather than just an evolutionary step. While mirrorless will likely be the dominant camera type in the not-too-distant future, this hybrid technology from Sony is the best of both worlds because it allows native mounting with Sony’s Alpha lenses as well as phase detection autofocus during video recording."
