Christie Digital and Boeing


Christie Digital Systems and Boeing Digital Cinema are working toward the future of alternative digital cinema. This spring, the DigiPro projector featured DLP cinema technology in a showcase of Broadway Television Networks' production of Jeckyll and Hyde: The Musical at the Pacific Theater in Hollywood. The projector worked with Boeing's secure end-to-end communication system for this first non-film program distributed for digital cinema display.

CompuDyne and Fiber SenSys


CompuDyne Corporation made an agreement in principal to purchase 100% of the stock of privately owned fiber optic sensor manufacturer Fiber SenSys Inc.

Coleman Cable and Spectrum Wire

Mitsubishi and Seiko Epson


Working with Microsoft Corp., Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and Seiko Epson Corporation plan to develop specifications and test methods for color quality in front-projection data/video projectors. Inetcam and Superior Essex


Inetcam's iVISTA 3.0 software is being used for a whole-house wiring system developed by Superior Essex. The new system is called IntelliGain and includes multifunctional wiring introduced throughout a new home during the construction process, so that Web cameras can be easily moved through the house for a wide variety of personal Web casting and live remote monitoring applications. Leo Burnett and Vela


Advertising firm Leo Burnett Worldwide purchased Vela's RapidAccess DVD-RAM archiving solution for storage and management of video assets at its Chicago headquarters. This marks the first time that the RapidAccess system has been installed in a non-broadcast application.

GTCR Golder Rauner and ADT


The businesses of Cambridge Protection Industries LLC will be sold by GTCR Golder Rauner LLC to ADT Security Services Inc. Cambridge Protection provides electronic security services to more than one million residential, commercial and government customers in North America.

Fujitsu and Passeport


Together, Fujitsu General America and Passeport Media created new ultra-high-resolution electronic video display screens. The first installation of the screens was completed at Canada's Montreal-Dorval International Airport.
