The DVP1500 digital cinema source from Faroudja incorporates a DVD drive for 6.75MHz bandwidth in a video processor to optimize the digital quality of both the audio and video elements of DVDs. It also processes all other analog sources and sends the signals to the display via a digital video interface connection. The DVP1500 can store up to eight display profiles and includes proprietary audio technology with special low-jitter crystal oscillators and RF suppression filters.
