Lower-cost multi-stream

In the NLE world, systems capable of handling multiple streams of video at once usually cost a premium. Now, with its VelocityQ 2×4, Leitch Technology drops the cost of entry to multi-stream editing. The 2×4, a lower-cost version of its award-winning VelocityQ NLE (now called VelocityQ 4×4), includes the Velocity software interface with Quattrus multi-stream realtime hardware. The 2×4 “guarantees” realtime playback of four streams of video — in any combination of compressed or uncompressed — and up to six graphics streams. The new VelocityQ 2×4 model also features the Q3DX2 dual-channel 3D DVE, which provides two simultaneous effects channels, including perspectives, warps, and rotations.
