Integrate Tools — Addonics
Drive swapping
While hard drives continue to shrink in size and price, they still don't approach the ease of use of floppy disks or those handy USB-based Flash drives. But Addonics offers a solution with its Combo Hard Drive USIB25, claimed to be the first hard drive solution that allows any standard 2.5in. IDE hard drive to be used as a hot-swap data cartridge. Featuring either USB, FireWire, Serial ATA, or CardBus interfaces, the USIB Drive Cradle allows users to install a hot swap drive bay into a standard 3.5in. drive bay (or 5.25in. bay with optional adapter) in any desktop, server, or computing enclosure. The same hard drive can also become an external mobile storage device; it attaches to any system that does not have a drive bay with an optional Addonics external cable.
Price: $79 for USB 2.0 interface; $99 for FireWire; $89 for CardBus/PCMCIA; $89 for SATA
