Engineering Manager

Supervise technical operators and maintenance staff. Act as liaisonwith all departments to ensure quality of station operations. Researchvendors for goods and services, and manage inventory of consumableengineering supplies. Coordinate staff training and development, andassist in the hiring of technical personnel. Coordinate otherdepartmental activities as assigned. Minimum of four year’stechnical experience in a television environment with a minimum of twoyears in a supervisory capacity required. Undergraduate Degree inElectrical Engineering or Computer Sciences strongly preferred. Strongbackground in the maintenance and repair of television broadcastingequipment, including large-scale news operations required. Solidengineering skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repairtechnical equipment and excellent communication, interpersonal, andleadership skills essential.
