Chief Engineer (Columbia, MO)

KOMU-TV, an NBC affiliate located in Columbia, Missouri, iscurrently seeking a Chief Engineer with a minimum of 6 years working intelevision broadcast engineering. Applicant must have a bachelor degreein electrical engineering or a combination of equivalent education andexperience. Applicant should also have experience in broadcastengineering management including budgeting, project management,employee supervision and evaluation, as well as solid working knowledgeof FCC regulations. Troubleshooting electronics down to the componentlevel, equipment design, integration, and installation are alsorequired. VHF NTSC and UHF ATSC transmitter experience is alsorequired. Experience with computers in both hardware and operatingsystems is desirable. This position will require working in a teamenvironment setting goals, developing projects and strict timelines tofurther the mission of the station. KOMU-TV is a commercial televisionstation licensed by the Curators of the University of Missouri.
