Chief Engineer - MI

WGTU/WGTQ-TV Max Media of Traverse City LLC, seeks ChiefEngineer position is responsible for ensuring station compliancewith all Federal, State and Local regulations as well asoperational, capital budgeting, planning, and acquisition ofequipment purchases for the station.

The Chief Engineer is responsible for all technical operationsof the corporation’s facilities including the maintenance andrepair of all station equipment including transmitters, microwaveand satellite systems, video servers, computers, and networkingsystems. BSEE or equivalent with at least 5 years in commercialbroadcast engineering management. FCC and/or SBE certification isdesirable.
