Madison Square Garden, The World's Most Famous Arena, has aunique growth opportunity for a Technical Maintenance Engineer tokeep our sports broadcasts on the cutting edge of technology.

As a member of our Broadcast Maintenance Group, you will performroutine maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair of all systemswithin the facility to ensure consistent quality of broadcasts. Ourmaintenance group is also responsible for planning and integratingnew technologies while providing technical support for allproductions including outside clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

• BS/BA, Technical Degree or Military Training - with SBECertification and/or FCC General Class License a plus;
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Technical Maintenance Engineer ina broadcast or cable production facility;
• component-level maintenance and repair experience on a varietyof production equipment including Sony HDCam, Digibeta, Beta SP,production switchers & routers, GV Saturn MCS, Jupiter ContolSystem, GV and BTS routing switchers, Chyron Infinit and Duet,Thomson Automation systems and Panasonic DVC Pro;
• thorough knowledge of Windows/Mac/Unix-based operating systemsand IAN/WAN platforms;
• AutoCad proficiency;
• significant installation/project experience;
• ability to troubleshoot and work around problems in afast-paced live broadcast environment.
