Ulead Professional Video and DVD Software to Support High Definition Video Format

The HDV format spec, which was established by Canon Inc.,Sharp Corporation, Sony Corporation, and Victor Company of Japan,Limited (JVC), will enable consumer and professional videographers torecord and playback high-definition video on standard DV and mini DVcassette tapes.

The HDV format will provide far higher video recording quality thanoffered by current digital video camcorders. MediaStudio Pro 7,Ulead’s professional video editing software, is expected to workwith the HDV format by the end of 2003. Gradually, all Uleadprofessional video and DVD software will support HDV.
