DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Primary function is to install,test and maintain the station's technical facilities, including butnot limited to; microwave and transmission path equipment, SD andHD routers, automated Master Control, news room computer system,graphic work stations, various nonlinear editing systems,production switchers, video file servers, audio consoles, andstudio robotic cameras.

Other responsibilities include scheduling, payrollreconciliation, budgeting, purchasing, establish maintenanceprocedures and hands on troubleshooting. Create and maintain CADdrawings, inventory tracking and equipment service agreements.Supervise assigned staff and conduct performance reviews.Demonstrate excellent written and oral communications and possessexcellent organizational skills.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum seven (7) years experience in asupervisory or lead technical position in a broadcast facility.Must have experience with IT systems such as LAN, WAN andassociated hardware. An undergraduate degree in ElectricalEngineering, Mass Communications, or another closely related fieldis preferred. Hold a current California Drivers License. Ability tolift 40 lbs. Applicant must be available to work weekends, andholidays. Experience managing projects, a plus.
