DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

KFSN-TV, the ABC owned station in Fresno, CA, is seeking a Directorof Engineering. The Director of Engineering will manage the engineeringoperations of the station. This position will be responsible for themaintenance and operation of a state-of-the-art digital broadcasttelevision station and all related technical equipment, including news,production, transmission facilities, and master control operations.Supervise, motivate and develop skills of engineering personnel. Managethe implementation of current and long-range technical operation plans,and ensure the station’s technical compliance with all governmentregulations and industry standards. Coordinate all building relatedprojects and repairs. Five years engineering management experience in atelevision broadcast environment required. Extensive knowledge of allbroadcast systems and knowledge of government regulations required.Solid understanding of digital technology is essential. Significanttechnical expertise in the planning, implementation and maintenance ofa television station and its facilities is required. Knowledge of RFfacilities, with UHF experience is a plus. Requires a strong leaderwith the ability to direct and motivate technical staff. Excellentcommunication, and project planning and management skills a must.Degree in related field preferred.
