Engineering Manager (New York, NY)

Engineering Manager: WABC-TV is looking for anindividual with a solid technical background to assist in the design,operation, and maintenance of server-based digital video and audiosystems, graphics and editing systems, and their associate ITinfrastructure.

The successful candidate will need to have several years experienceproviding Engineering and IT support to broadcast News and MasterControl/On-Air operations at a major market television station. Thisposition includes managerial responsibilities as well as the need tounderstand complex digital video, digital audio, and LAN Systems, witha proven ability to diagnose and rectify problems quickly. Excellentcommunication skills are essential to understand users' requirementsand provide training on new systems. The ideal candidate will have asolid background in video, audio, RF, and IT components and systems,project management experience, an Engineering degree, and experienceworking with labor contracts in a represented facility. This openposition is for the late afternoon/evening hours.
