Maintenance Engineer (Dallas/Fort Worth, TX)

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

KTVT CBS 11 / KTXA UPN 21, the Dallas/Fort Worth Viacom duopolytelevision station, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for itsEngineering Department to repair, install, maintain, and performpreventative maintenance of all technical equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting electronic equipment to a component level.

• Repairing, aligning, installing, maintaining, and relocating videoequipment, audio equipment, microwave and satellite equipment, andcomputers and other digital equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years experience in broadcasting as aMaintenance Engineer or seven (7) years experience as an OperationsEngineer with some maintenance experience.

• Two (2) year Associates Degree or two (2) years of technical schoolrelated to radio and television broadcasting, or related field.

• FCC General class Radio/Telephone license and/or SBE BroadcastEngineer Certification and valid Texas Driver's License.

• Thorough working knowledge of personal computers and varioussoftware, wave form and vector scopes, oscilloscopes, spectrumanalyzers, digital and analog test equipment, various types of handtools, shop grinders, sanders, drill motors, etc.

• A strong RF background is required.
