Director of Broadcast Services & Engineering (TV)

APT, a statewide public television network located inBirmingham, AL, operates 9 transmitter sites with 18 transmitters, over2200 miles of two-way digital microwave and a satellite distributionnetwork. APT is also licensee of public radio station WLRH inHuntsville.

APT is seeking a dynamic and energetic leader with a minimum of 15years of experience in broadcast delivery systems, supervision ofengineers and master control personnel. This position will be involvedin grant applications, budget development and forecasting, writingequipment bid specifications, tower lease negotiations as well as day-to-day operations. Must be knowledgeable of RF transmission digital andanalog technology as well as automation/monitoring and controlsystems.
