Sr. Video Engineer - NY

Cablevision’s highly successful regional network, consistingof five channels in the NY market, is currently seeking individuals fortheir Woodbury, NY facility. Position involves the integration andmaintenance of live production studios and highly automated MCRfacilities.

Qualified candidate must possess the following:

• Exp w/ DOS, MS Windows 2K, XP, NT, Irix, Linux and Mac OS.

• Extensive knowledge of IT Networking, A+, Network +, or MSCEcertification preferred.

• Familiar with Harris Automation, Grass Valley DDR,’s, Pro-BelRouters. DVC Pro and Betacam formats.

• Ability to read and follow schematics and facility system wiringdiagrams.

• Exp w/ equipment integration and installation.

• Familiar with test and measurement equipment.

• Exp w/ troubleshooting electronic circuits down to the componentlevel.

• Minimum of an A.A.S. in Electronic or Electrical EngineeringTechnology or equivalent experience.

• Minimum four years exp w/ television broadcasting audio/videoequipment.

• Must be able to work flexible hours in a high-pressure environmentw/ strict deadlines.
