VP Engineering

Direct and manage the technical stability of the station, and manageand maintain operations of all technical equipment, including News,Production, Transmission facilities, and master control. Supervise andmotivate engineering staff and establish departmental objectives andpriorities. Develop and implement current and long-range technicaloperation plans, and prepare departmental expense and capital budgets.Ensure station’s technical compliance with all governmentregulations and industry standards.

Minimum five to seven years broadcast engineering managementexperience required. Extensive working knowledge of all broadcastsystems a must. Thorough understanding of digital technology, andsignificant technical expertise in the planning, implementation andmaintenance of television station facilities, including RF facilities.Position requires a strong leader with the ability to motivate andcultivate technical staff. Excellent communication and organizationskills required. Degree in Engineering preferred.
