Avid Launches 'Experience Avid|DNA' Tour

Avid Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVID) today announced the launch ofits "Experience Avid|DNA" tour. The two-month tour, with stops in ninecities across the U.S. and Canada, will give customers the opportunityto discuss industry trends, learn new tips and tricks, and get a free,in-depth look at Avid's revolutionary new product line unveiled at NAB2003.

These new products include Avid DS Nitris, Media ComposerAdrenaline, and Avid Xpress Pro with Avid Mojo - all of which leveragethe power of the new Avid DNA family - the industry's first nonlinearhybrid architecture to link host-based software capabilities andhardware-based acceleration for unparalleled realtimeprice-performance. The tour will also showcase new products fromDigidesign and Softimage, Avid's respective audio and 3D/animationbusinesses, and highlight how they can be integrated into acollaborative workflow with Avid's editing solutions.
