Manages the broadcast maintenance employees in performing propermaintenance of broadcast equipment and systems. Ensures properinstallation, support and maintenance of all broadcast equipment andsystems and related software systems. Keeps abreast of new technologyand makes recommendations to senior management regarding itssuitability for application. Provides operating training to employeeson all equipment. Plans and manages technical projects, includingcapital projects, and assigns project engineers.

Undergraduate degree in broadcast technology or equivalent relatedexperience. Five years of experience as a line manager, as ChiefEngineer, or Assistant Chief Engineer in a major market, supervisingplant and transmitter facilities. Seven years of technical experienceeither as a broadcast engineer or a maintenance engineer or acombination. Skilled in computer operations and software applications.AutoCAD experience desirable.
