Curious Labs Announces Agreement with Adobe

LOS ANGELES, CA - Curious Labs, Inc., developers of theaward-winning 3D character and design tools Poser and Poser Pro Pack,announced the signing of an agreement with Adobe Systems Incorporated,the leader in network publishing. The two companies have agreed to worktogether on technology, content and marketing activities for AdobeAtmosphere software and Curious Labs' avatar-creation tools.

Now Atmosphere world builders will have an easy system for buildingcustom avatars, as well as exposing the large community of Poser usersto immersive 3D worlds. Additionally, both Adobe and Curious Labsincorporate Viewpoint technology, resulting in smooth-skinned, bending3D characters from Poser Pro Pack that can be used as avatars inAtmosphere 3D worlds.

CuriousLabs will continue developing additional Atmosphere worlds and avatarsto populate them, in demonstration of the possibilities opened up inusing the Curious Labs and Adobe tools together.

Curious Labs and Adobe will participate jointly in a variety oftradeshows and events throughout the coming year to demonstrate andpromote the powerful alliance between Adobe's Atmosphere authoringtools and Curious Labs' avatar-creation tools. Additionally, bothcompanies will be engaged in public training on avatar creation and theprocesses involved with creating Atmosphere worlds and the avatars.
