CCUMC Partners with ICIA for InfoComm 2003
The International Communications Industries Association, Inc. (ICIA)is pleased to announce that the Consortium of College and UniversityMedia Centers (CCUMC) is partnering with ICIA to bring the InfoCommaudiovisual tradeshow, which will take place June 3-5, 2003 in Orlando,Fla., to the attention of media professionals serving the highereducation sector. Many CCUMC members are in key positions to makepurchasing decisions for communications and presentation media.
“Staying current in the ever-changing world of presentationtechnology is a challenge common to all media professionals,”commented Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., ICIA’s executive director.“Most CCUMC members are their campuses’ source for dataprojection, document cameras, control systems and computer-basedpresentations. InfoComm is where people go to see the newestpresentation technologies, and the education sector will also find thebest innovative solutions that can give them the cost-efficiency andequipment reliability they need.”
CCUMC members will be encouraged to attend the show throughdistribution of promotional brochures, e-mail blast announcements,website links as well as an article on InfoComm in their membernewsletter. In return, ICIA is giving CCUMC, as an association alliancepartner, increased visibility by recognizing CCUMC as a sponsor in theInfoComm registration brochure as well as featuring their logo in theShow Guide, Show Daily, website and signage at the show. ICIA is alsoproviding free passes to CCUMC members to visit the InfoComm 2003exhibition and a 10’x10’ booth for them on the showfloor.
