Michael Wellesley-Wesley Appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Chyron Corporation

The Board of Directors of Chyron Corporation (OTCBB: CYRO) todayannounced the appointment of Michael Wellesley-Wesley as president andCEO of the company effective February 21, 2003. He will succeed RogerHenderson, who is resigning from that position. Henderson will remainas a director of Chyron.

Mr. Wellesley-Wesley previously served Chyron as chairman and CEOfrom July 1995 to June 1997, and chairman from June 1999 to December2001. Since January 2002 Mr. Wellesley-Wesley has been chairman ofChyron's executive committee.

Mr. Wellesley-Wesley said, "I am pleased to have been appointedChyron's new CEO and am fully committed to the task of restoring valueto Chyron's shareholders. Roger has been CEO of Chyron for over threeyears and during that time has guided the company through some verychallenging times.
