WLNS Chief Engineer (Lansing, MI)

WLNS-Newscenter6 is looking for a self-motivated, responsible, teamplayer to join our station. The successful candidate must have aminimum of a four-year technical degree, or equivalent experience intelevision operations and maintenance.

Abilities and experience should include: Knowledge of FCC rules andregulations along with strong project management and computer skills;maintenance and repair of all technical equipment in studio andtransmitter facilities/towers, satellite downlink and microwavetransmission systems.

Experience in the following equipment a plus: Sony Beta SX tapemachines and camcorders. Harris Sigma UHF digital televisiontransmitter, Harris VHF solid state transmitter. Leitch VR-300, videofile server. Microsoft 98SE, NT Operating System. Nortel option 11cphone system.
