New Dates for InfoComm China: May 12-14, 2004

INFOCOMMASIA Pte Ltd (IAPL), organizer of InfoComm China, has madethe decision to reschedule the event in light of the unclear SevereAcute Respiratory Syndrome's (SARS) situation in China. InfoComm Chinais slated to take place May 12-14, 2004 at the Shanghai EverbrightConvention and Exhibition Centre.

Dr. Nat Wong, managing director of IAPL, said, "Following our firstannouncement to postpone our show from April to July, we've continuedto closely monitor the SARS development in China, as this concerns thewell being of our participants. From information gathered through thevarious reports, we're optimistic that the world's medical experts,with better understanding of the virus, will be able to contain thespread of the virus if not find a cure in the very near future. Withthis in mind, we've decided to defer the show by another year."

Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., executive director of ICIA, added, "Thispostponement was the right thing to do for both our exhibitors andattendees. We look forward to working with our partners and exhibitorsto set the stage for producing our second show in Shanghai to match thesuccessful launch of InfoComm China in 2002. Notwithstanding thecurrent setback faced by China due to SARS, it is undeniably still thefastest growing market in the world."

Buyers at InfoComm China 2004 can expect to meet industry leaderssuch as Barco, Christie Digital Systems, Crestron, Da-Lite ScreenCompany, Draper Inc., Epson, Extron, Hitachi, InFocus, Mitsubishi,Panasonic, Sanyo, Sony and Toshiba. The 10,000 square-meter exhibitionwill showcase products and services from over 80 exhibitors.

In conjunction with the exhibition, a three-day seminar on new AVtechnologies and products will be held. The seminar is organized underthe aegis of ICIA.
