ICIA Selects Atlanta to Host InfoComm 2004
The International Communications Industries Association, Inc. (ICIA)has announced that the city of Atlanta will host InfoComm 2004, theworld’s largest professional AV communications and systemsintegration industry exposition. InfoComm 2004 will be held the week ofJune 9-11, 2004 at the Georgia World Congress Center located indowntown Atlanta adjacent to the Olympic Centennial Park, CNN Centerand the Georgia Dome.
“We’re excited to have selected Atlanta to be our hostcity for InfoComm 2004,” says Randy Lemke, ICIA’s executivedirector. “While Las Vegas and Orlando remain top destinationcities for our show, we’ve listened to our exhibitors andattendees who have indicated a preference to rotate destinations. Afterthe InfoComm Exhibitor Committee and ICIA Board of Governors spent alot of time researching cities, they concluded that Atlanta was theright city for us in 2004. Atlanta is a vibrant business hub that willdraw visitors from not only the southeastern region but across the U.S.and around the world. Atlanta is also a great city to visit because ofits many cultural and recreational venues. I know our internationalattendees will enjoy the city that hosted the Olympics, is home to theBraves, and is the gateway to the Masters Golf Tournament.”

ICIA projections anticipate more than 25,000 attendees, 600+exhibitors and more than 350,000 net square feet of exhibits forInfoComm 2004 at the Georgia World Congress Center. In addition,InfoComm will plan to offer more than 200 educational sessions inconjunction with “InfoComm Week” in Atlanta.
In the meantime, InfoComm 2003 will be held June 3-5, 2003 at theOrange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
