Director of Engineering (1 in New Orleans, LA and 1 in Philadelphia, PA)

Tribune Broadcasting's, WGN0/WNOL (New Orleans) and WPHL(Philadelphia), television stations each have an immediate openingfor a strong, communicative, performance based Director of Engineering.These positions will be responsible for all aspects of its technicalfacilities, including general facilities maintenance, supervision oftechnical personnel, capital planning and departmental budget. Theideal candidates must possess a proven television engineering andmanagement track record, digital technology expertise, with solidcommunication skills. We are looking for a proactive team-player who isfocused and has the ability to plan and execute strategies. Must havethorough knowledge of FCC rules and regulations for transmission andtransmitter coupled with analog and digital video/broadcast studiosystem understanding of IS and RF.
