It alsorecognizes and correctly sizes all current ATSC DTV formats (480i/p,720p, 10801) and has selectable 4:3 and 16:9 image sizing.
The P10 provides additional features, such as 3D Digital uniformity,user-selectable progressive-scan or interlaced-scan presentation ofvideo sources, a 3D noise reduction circuit with digital comb filter, and digital keystone image correction. It's quiet, too--fan noise isspecified at 39 dB, which means no distracting blower noise even insmall rooms.
Conference Series P20: This newest addition to the Sharp linebridges the gap between full-featured and compact installationprojectors. The P20 delivers 3300 ANSI lumens with over 300:1 peakcontrast, but isn't much larger than the XG-P10XU at 12.5" x 6.1" x16.6" and 20.9 pounds. It also uses three 1.3" 1024x768 LCD panels.
The XG-P20XU is ideal for larger, fully-integratedconference/boardrooms and classrooms, and will serve well in stagingand rental applications. The standard lens is a 1.3:1 power zoom/focusdesign, and it can be shifted manually to correct for off-axis keystonedistortion. There are optional lenses, too--choose from a 1.3 - 1.7:1wide angle, 2.5 - 3.2:1 telephoto, 4.8 - 6.0:1 long throw telephoto, and short throw 0.9:1 wide angle.
The P20 provides a full range of input connections, from a pair of15-pin RGB/component jacks to composite and S-video inputs. There'salso a 29-pin DVI input for direct digital connections, and a 15-pinmonitor loop-out jack. The on-board stereo amplifier is rated at 2watts, and fan noise is specified to be just 33 dB.
Of course, ImageACE resizing is standard, with compatibility to UXGAand all DTV rates. Additional features include 3D Digital Uniformity,user-selectable progressive?scan or interlaced-scan presentation ofvideo sources, a 3D noise reduction circuit with digital comb filter, and digital keystone image correction with aspect ratio correction.
The P20 also works with Sharp's Advanced Presentation Software(professional edition). This fully-featured package lets users controlup to 250 projectors, each with its own unique ID number or IP address.Using this software, each projector can be set-up and diagnosed from aremote location using a bi-directional Internet or company intranetconnection. The software can be configured to automatically send outprojector error messages as email to a registered address.
