Fox Television Stations, Inc has an immediate opening of a keyEngineering position at its WFLD/WPWR television stations located inChicago, IL.

WFLD/WPWR ENGINEERING MANAGER
Candidate will supervise maintenance department of 12 – 15people, design, construct transmitter and studio facilities, monitorbudgets and responsible for completion. Duties include trainingtechnicians in the operation and maintenance of specific equipment forthe implementation of applicable procedures. 10 years experience in theoperation, maintenance and design of TV production, transmitterfacilities and systems. SBE certification or higher. Knowledge ofdigital formats for production, distribution and transmission andcomputer skills, esp., Novell, LAN and Avid/Basys Newsroom systemsrequired. A degree in Engineering or Broadcast Engineering, priormanagement skills, similar position held and/or training experiencepreferred. Strong follow-through and interpersonal skills required.
