DDD Teams with Stereographics to Create New 3D Displays

DDD Group announced today that it has signed an agreement for itsTriDef 3D playback system to power StereoGraphics Corporation'sSynthaGram Autostereo (glasses-free) 3D displays.

DDD's TriDef 3D System enables the SynthaGram Monitor to show 3Dvideo content without glasses, enhancing the viewing experience fortrade show and conference room presentations, entertainment andadvertising, and 3D visualization. DDD will also supply 2D to 3Dcontent conversion services, enabling any piece of footage to beconverted to 3D and viewed on the SynthaGram Monitor.

The SynthaGram combines a liquid crystal display panel, lenticularscreen and graphics card with software to enable viewing in Stereo3Dwithout special eyewear.
